Bahnmiller Construction designed, supplied, and erected the Ferndale High
School Replacement for the Ferndale School District in Ferndale, Washington.
BCI collaborated with Cornerstone General Contractors for over a year as part
of the design build team and was able to highlight the value an MBS System
can provide while not losing the aesthetics needed to match the conventional
structure on the project. The design utilized multiple wall panels, including
wood accents and CMU with the masterline from MBCI and FW-120. The
project was phased over a 3 year period due to the school campus remaining
open and it included 7 metal buildings.
Each floor has about a dozen classrooms, staff areas, and collaborative
spaces. The new building accommodates approximately 1,375 students, but
the design allows for the construction of additions that could serve 1,600
students if needed.
Bahnmiller Construction is proud to have partnered with the Ferndale School
District and Cornerstone General Contractors on this project.
